CAM LIGHT SWITCHES
Gemco products are the standard by which all other rotary cam limit switches are measured. Most of the features called for by users were invented as part of Gemco products. Gemco has the most complete line of components and accessories for precise circuit control; no one else comes close.
1980 Series Rotating Cam Limit Switch
The Gemco 1980 Series Rotating Cam Limit Switches are pilot devices used for heavy duty material handling mechanisms, mechanical presses, locks/dams, bridges, packaging machines, rotary tables, and in many other applications.
1980R Series Rotating Cam Limit Switch with Revolver
Many press operations are now being fitted with automation equipment that requires limit switch outputs. While most press control outputs remain unchanged from die to die, the automation outputs frequently require adjustment. The 1980R Series Rotating Cam limit Switch with Resolver provides the safety and reliability of mechanical cams for press control circuits. The industrial grade resolver supplies the input to a programmable limit switch that provides the automation for the frequently changed outputs.
The 1980R Series Cam Limit Switch is available in NEMA 1, NEMA 4 & 5, NEMA 7, NEMA 9, and NEMA 12 enclosures, and can be ordered with 2 to 40 circuits.
1983 Series Opto-Cam Rotating Cam Limit Switch
By using a photo eye to optically actuate the 1983 Series Opto-Cam Rotating Limit Switch is ideal for applications requiring high speed positioning, up to 3600 RPM, where a mechanical switch would not be able to function.
The 1983 Series Opto-Cam has 2-40 circuit rotating cam limit switch assemblies with NEMA 1, 4, 7, and 12 enclosures. It has AC and DC outputs with 3-amp plug-in opto 22 outputs. Also, a 3" micro-adjust cam for precision settings from 1° to 359°.
1997 Series Gate Hoist Rotating Cam Limit Switch
Gemco has been supplying Rotary Cam Limit Switches (RCLS) to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for more than 45 years. Our Series 1997 Gate Hoist RCLS was designed exclusively to the specifications supplied by the USACE. Over the past 45 years, we have provided thousands of these units throughout the world for feedback and control of dam roller gate, miter gate, and lock chamber valve machinery.
1970 Series Drive-Chek Base Multi-purpose Sub Base
The 1970 Series Drive-Chek is a multi-purpose sub base. It serves three purposes; namely, a broken chain or belt detector, a chain or belt tensioner, and a shock and vibration isolator, and is mounted under a chain or belt driven mechanism.
Each Drive-Chek unit is provided with a Gemco indicator switch that indicates when a drive belt or chain failure has occurred. Shock and vibration from the machine to the hinge plate of the Drive-Chek unit are dampened by coil springs on one end of the hinge plate and an elastomeric support on the other end. The springs also maintain a constant tension in the drive belt or chain.
